High temperature sealing channeling& water plugging technology

1、Technology introduction

In order to solve the problems such as steam channeling and water channeling in the process of heavy oil thermal recovery, the high temperature sealing channeling and water plugging agent was developed, and its main features are:

（1）Low viscosity, good injection, high temperature sealing channeling and water plugging agent can go into the reservoir deep and solidify.

（2）Temperature resistance can reach above 350℃, high salinity tolerance.

（3）Permanent plugging for steam channeling and in water zones, degradation measures can be taken when needed.

（4）Selective blocking feature.

2、Plugging mechanism of plugging agent

“Choking flow” + “sealing”

Choking flow: The viscosity of plugging agent increases greatly underground, and the flow resistance increases

Sealing: The viscosity of the plugging agent increases continuously and eventually forms a high strength sealing solid.
